Death note is manga series that has been turned into an anime and a movie franchise. I first came across Death note while I was browsing through
PEX forum. I was able to download the movie but there was an error with the file so I wasn't able to watched it. I was really curious how this series goes. So when I went to quiapo to buy a lot of movies, they have a death note copy so I bought one.
It's a story of a 17-year old boy who one rainy night found a notebook called "Death note" wherein he can write the names of people and they will die within 40 seconds. He first used it to kill criminals but on the course of his actions, he thought of himself as a "god" passing judgment on not only criminals but innocent people as well.
Imagine being able to do that. Having a note where in you can write a name (and you have to imagine their face too while writing so that there will be no mistake) and they will die within 40 seconds with heart paralysis if you don't state what they will die from. Yeah, you can also post the manner in which they will die. It's pretty scary and merci that it's just a movie. We shouldn't deal or give death punishments lightly for even the very wise cannot see all ends. It is not our place to pass judgment. What I like about the movie is the clash between "L", the detective who's been trying to catch KIRA and in doing so gave up his life. the good won in the end..always does.
But I guess for the fun of it (for some people), there is a Death note (online) quite like the one in the movie/manga. When you open it, you will be able to read the rules of the Death note. There are already 838 pages(and counting) of the online note and you can even add your own entry.
Never tried. It's just wrong.
When I was still reviewing for the exams, both CGFNS and NCLEX and most of my friends are working their socks off already, I said to myself that even though my path is different from theirs, we all still arrive at the same thing, which is work. After I have passed them, all I will worry about is finding a job, work and that is all I'll be doing for the rest of my life. No more big exams I have to get through. But now that I am working already, it kinda feel different.
Nkkatamad sobra. But I have an excuse for that (everybody has anyway). I am not working full time. I'm only on training for 3 months with no pay. And I'm kinda tired of going when there is nothing for me at the end of the day. Well i guess i will have the experience, and I have done a lot. But I felt that it should be more spent on a job that pays well, right? That I know after this training I will come to work on this hospital. But it's not happening that way. There are 50 of us and just a few vacant positions available. So forget it.
But I guess I should remember why I decided to do this training thing. After graduation, I didn't work immediately and concentrated in getting my exams done and dusted. So for two years with no experience, I'm a bit afraid how i will deal with the job and come up with doing this training to get me reacquainted. And now that I've felt a little confident, I don't want to continue it anymore. Honestly, it's an arrogant kind of way of dealing things.
There was this text my friend Merai forwarded to me,
"Be Full of Energy. Never tell yourself: "I am tired!", because the more you accept that thought, the more exhausted you'll get. Life is a matter of perspective, either you complain because roses have thorns or you rejoice because thorns have roses..It all depends on how you look at it!"
I kinda feel guilty after reading this. But so much for perspective, I didn't go on duty today. I finally decided I'm ending myself being always torn in two. To go or not to go. I guess I will not go.
Cheerio!
It is quite difficult to spot Chelsea FC products used or worn by people, displayed in sports boutique. But I have been patient and observant with my surroundings and have seen few people wearing them. It came as a shock to me that they have worn the Chelsea FC official kit in public. I have thus far seen four guys wearing the stuff. The first one while I was walking in Morayta, second in Buendia, third in Glorietta. I haven't took photos because they were either far away or just a quick pass. But the fourth one is different. He's a co-trainee in Manila Adventist Medical Center Critical Care Training. We aren't friends but I was dumbfounded when I saw him came during lessons wearing a CFC kit with no. 7 Mutu at the back. I immediately went to get his picture, with permission of course. And here it is:
His name is Kit and he's wearing the Fly Emirates kit. The new one is Samsung Mobile.
It's a Mutu Chelsea kit.
More pics....
The full kit.
And what's more. I was window shopping at Isetann Recto when I saw a Chelsea ball to my surprise. Of course, here it is.
For now, these are the stuff that I was spotted concerning Chelsea here in the Philippines. I am looking forward to seeing more.
Blue is the color.
